While Nazi and Confederate flag-waving trucker convoys in Canada and the East Coast of the United States whose only demands are to have less health protections on the job and who are backed by police and the wealthy capitalist class get most of the attention, largely Brown, immigrant truckers in California are waging a brave battle for employment status recognition and collective bargaining rights. In the below interview conducted by Breakthrough News, Teamsters union port division coordinator Kristal Romero discusses the struggle of these workers against one of the largest corporations in the U.S.
